How quickly do items ship?

Most items ship within 2 weeks, while custom jewelry orders have a 4-week turnaround time.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes! We offer worldwide shipping for most items, with an additional shipping charge. However, greeting cards are only available in the US. Please note that we do not reimburse customs fees.

What are US shipping rates?

• Most items ship for free within the US. 

• Art prints, greeting cards, and tote bags include shipping costs in their price.

• Jewelry and pins shipping rates are based on item weight and shipping fees.

Can I get discrete packaging?

Your order will ship with "The Crafty Queer" in the return address field, using plain white poly mailers or shipping boxes. Since we work with multiple vendors, your order may arrive in more than one package and I can't control those return addresses. We are able to control the return address on jewelry, pins, and stickers; please contact us to make this request or make a note at checkout when you place your order.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! We offer gift cards that can be used toward tattoos and any website merchandise. Gift cards are available in multiple amounts and can be purchased directly from our website or in person at Radiant Body Art in Troy, NY.

Can I purchase items wholesale?

Yes! Contact me to discuss wholesale rates.

Jewelry & Art

Are your jewelry pieces hypoallergenic?

We use stainless steel earring posts which are generally hypoallergenic. However, some items may contain small amounts of mixed metals, such as charms that are used. If you have specific sensitivities, feel free to contact us before purchasing, and we’ll be happy to help!

How should I care for my jewelry?

To keep your jewelry in its best condition:

• Avoid water exposure (remove before showering, swimming, or washing hands).

• Keep away from lotions, perfumes, and harsh chemicals to prevent tarnishing.

• Store in a dry, cool place, preferably in an airtight bag or jewelry box.

• Clean gently with a soft cloth if needed.

Can I order a commissioned piece from The Crafty Queer?

Yes! Alister takes commissions for custom illustrations as well as tattoo and jewelry designs. Whether you’re looking for a unique art piece, a custom greeting card, or a tattoo design to take to your local artist, we’d love to hear your ideas. To get started fill out this form so we can discuss details, pricing, and turnaround time.

Do you require a deposit for tattoos or commissions?

Yes. A $50 deposit is required before booking a tattoo or starting a commission request.

Returns & Replacements

What is your return policy?

• We offer free exchanges or store credit on jewelry and original art purchased within 60 days (excluding sale and custom-made items, which are final).

• If your order arrives damaged, we will send a replacement if notified immediately.

• For missing packages, we will issue a replacement after a USPS claim has been filed and two months have passed.

• If you have any issues with your order, please contact us—we’re happy to help!
