The Crafty Queer is a trans and queer licensed tattoo artist operating out of upstate New York. They are currently a resident artist at Radiant Body Art, a queer affirming body postivie tattoo shop in Troy, NY. Alister, the owner and artist behind The Crafty Queer, specializes in black and gray fine line tattooing on all skin and body types. They have extensive experience tattooing folks in fat bodies, people living with disabilities, and the LGBTQ community. They aim to foster a welcoming, trauma-informed, and body positive tattoo experience for all people.
Their favorite subject matter to tattoo includes nature and queer culture, but custom requests are accepted when they align with Alister's art style and capabilities.
